To meet the need for organic produce of the nearby community, Parry decided to encourage organic farming within its factory premises in Onnaiyur. What’s best is the fact that the bio-waste generated in cultivating the micro-algae is converted to nutrient-rich organic fertilizer to nourish the vegetables grown.
The employees can participate in organic farming and the produce is distributed to the local surroundings at subsidized prices.
