Our Spirulina was one of the first to be certified organic globally as per USDA-NOP, Naturland and EU Standards. It was also the first and only Spirulina to complete the USP Dietary Ingredient Verification Program, endorsed to align with the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act. MCRC* Research on Spirulina as
a significant source of nutrition commences

*Murugappa Chettiar Research Centre (MCRC), a non-Governmental Voluntary Research arm of the Group, was established with a vision to take the scientific developments to the rural masses. Almost 4 decades ago, MCRC initiated work on Spirulina due to the growing concern of malnutrition among the children living in rural areas of Tamil Nadu, India.
