Microalgae cultivation is a water-intensive process and being water positive is the vision that drives us. We’ve established a set of water principles to guide our approach towards water usage and ensure business continuity, especially in the places where we have the greatest potential risk. Under these principles, we’re working to utilize water efficiently, recharging rainwater and replenishing groundwater, reusing treated wastewaters through wastewater treatment plants and exploring more ways to incorporate water circularity, and engaging in partnerships to develop promising state of the art water conservation solutions.
